Tools for Collaboration
Modern technologies offer a variety of tools and platforms to support FWA and virtual collaboration. In recent years, more and more enterprise applications migrated to web-based platforms allowing external and secure access to applications, intranet sites and portals from anywhere. This advance in technology provides a significant support to staff members who opt to use FWA, especially telecommuting.
Unite Mail (Microsoft Outlook) allows staff members to access their UN email, calendar and address book via desktop application and mobile app.
Messaging, enterprise social networking and collaboration

Microsoft Teams is a collaboration workspace that helps your team stay organized through teams chats, audio, video conferencing and content sharing all in one place. Its integration with Office 365 apps allows users to simultaneously collaborate, edit, and share documents across apps such as Word and SharePoint online. Web-based document repository
UniteDocs is an enterprise content management platform. It provides a web interface allowing staff members across duty stations to securely access UN document repositories and records within the intranet or when away from the work office (e.g. when telecommuting).
