Update your emergency contact information

Use the online tool to update their emergency contact information on inspira. The system enables the Organization to notify staff member’s emergency contact(s) in event of accident or critical incident. Please take ten minutes to do so today. These are the simple steps that you should follow:

  • Log into https://inspira.un.org using your UN index number and password.
  • From ‘View/ Change Personal Information’ select ‘View/ Change Emergency Contacts’
  • Select ‘Add Emergency Contact’ and fill in the information then ‘Save’.
  • You can add additional emergency contacts by repeating the step.
  • If you need to provide any additional relevant information select ‘Add Additional Information’ (this is optional).

If your emergency contacts change or need to be updated select ‘Edit’ to update. Your information will remain confidential and will be used for notification purposes only in case of an emergency.

Register on the UN Emergency Alert Information System
Be sure to find out about the UN Emergency Alert Information System established for your duty station. This system allows you to register with UN-Department of Safety and Security (DSS) to receive UN alerts on emergency situations that occur in your location.
