• Career Workbook

This resource helps you to reflect on your strengths and gain insight into where you are now and where you’d like to be in the future. It’s best to tackle the workbook over time – completing 1 or 2 sections per week.

• Job application guidance

In 2021 there were important changes on how staff present themselves for new jobs in their Inspira applications. Inform yourself about these updates and be prepared for the next dream job that you see listed. 

• Interviewing programmes

Need to brush up on your interviewing skills?  Take the Pursuing Your Career in the UN learning programme. This progamme is part of the Blue Line suite of programmes and includes modules on competency-based interviews, the selection system and more.

If you need to serve on an interview panel, do the required training in an online programme.

• Career Conversations

Check out this guidance for managers on the importance of holding career conversations with their team members. Learn all you need to know about having effective, meaningful talks that help motivate and inspire.
