Arabic Advanced I

This course marks the beginning of the advanced level courses. It continues with the Al-Kitaab II book and covers units 9 and 10. It introduces verbs with vowels in the root. The cultural content of this course includes a glimpse into the revolutions in the Arab Spring along with an overview of the Egyptian higher education system.
The prerequisite for this course is level 9 or an equivalent result in a recent placement test.

Arabic Conversation III

This course is designed to help students attain proficiency in participating in topics related to duties at the UN. It trains them on how to argue, give presentations, and handle complicated communicative exchange in an Arabic speaking setting. Upon completion, students should be able to comprehend and respond on work related issues.
The prerequisite for this course is level 9.

Arabic Conversation I

This course continues to train students to communicate effectively in an Arabic speaking environment and understand the cultural context of Arabic-speaking people. It is designed to help students attain proficiency in participating in topics related to daily activities and personal interests. It trains them on how to initiate, sustain semi-complicated communicative exchange, and to satisfy personal needs and social demands to survive in an Arabic speaking setting.

Arabic Media III

Media III course is designed to meet the increasing demands of the learners of Arabic to access the Arabic media and to be able to use their language potentials to get the news from the most renowned Arabic sources (like CNN, BBC, France 24, Al Jazeera Arabic) . The syllabus is tailored for Advanced level and students will be exposed to the advanced skills of reading the Arabic media and will be able to analyze the news and demonstrate a deep understanding of the content topic.
The prerequisites for this course is level 8.  

Arabic Media II

Media II course is designed to meet the increasing demands of the learners of Arabic to access the Arabic media and to be able to use their language potentials to get the news from the most renowned Arabic sources (like CNN, BBC, France 24, Al Jazeera Arabic). The syllabus is tailored for Intermediate level and students will be exposed to the intermediate skills of reading the Arabic media and will familiar with the terms and expressions used in the daily news articles.
Prerequisites: Arabic Level 6

Arabic Media I

Media I course is designed to meet the increasing demands of the learners of Arabic to access the Arabic media and to be able to use their language potentials to get the news from the most renowned Arabic sources (like CNN, BBC, France 24, Al Jazeera Arabic) . The syllabus is tailored for beginners and students will be exposed to the basic skills of reading the Arabic media and will familiar with the terms and expressions used in the simple news articles.
The prerequisite for this course is level 4.

Arabic Advanced Consolidation

This course continues with the Al-Kitaab II book and covers Lessons 9 and 10. It introduces verbs with vowels in the root. The cultural content of this course includes a glimpse about the revolutions in the Arab Spring along with an overview of the Egyptian higher education system.
The prerequisite for this course is level 9 or an equivalent result in a recent placement test.

Arabic Level 9

This course continues with the Al-Kitaab II book and covers Lessons 7 and 8. It introduces the common two patterns of the passive or the unknown form of the verb. Case markings for numbers and nouns and verb patterns III and VI are also covered. The cultural content of this course covers the different religious holidays.
The prerequisite for this course is level 8 or an equivalent result in a recent placement test.

Arabic Level 8

This course continues with the Al-Kitaab II book and covers Lessons 5 and 6. It introduces the doer of the action and its patterns. The course adds to the list of irregular verbs the ones with a doubled consonant. The dual form will also be covered in its Modern Standard and informal form. The cultural section of this course deals with arranged marriages in the Arab world and issues of immigration.
