How does it work?

The UN Coaching Programme uses an online platform to pair colleagues who seek coaching with those who are certified coaches or have formal coach training.

The project team will supports participants through an orientation webinar, periodic support sessions and a rich range of resources available on this site and on the online platform.

How does the programme work?

Read the 5 main steps:

Step 1

Eligible staff* register by filing out a questionnaire on the online platform. They choose a client or coach role and share profile information and preferences about what they would like to gain from the programme.

Step 2

Clients search for suitable coaches by exploring profiles on the platform and on LinkedIn if applicable. Clients can select and submit their 3 top choices.

Step 3

The platform algorithm verifies which coach from the client’s top choices is still available and completes the pairing. The coach and the client receive a notification by email when they are paired.

Step 4

Clients should schedule their first sessions. Pairs should hold regular meetings- at least once a month or more frequently, as decided by each pair.

Step 5

Provide feedback. Participants will be asked to provide brief feedback after each session through quick surveys prompted by the platform. The information provided will be visible and used only by the OHR project team.
