Performance Management for Managers and Supervisors
Description:

This half day training course is mandatory for all supervisors and managers and will reinforce the principles of Performance management in the Organization. It is a facilitator-led workshop developed by OHR (LMS-1090).

Objectives: Reinforce the principles of performance management, (work planning, selection of competencies, on-going feedback, mid-point review and end-of-cycle appraisal). Learn how to conduct collaborative meetings at all stages of the performance cycle using a step-by-step approach.
Further: This course will reinforce the principles of Performance management, namely, work planning , ongoing feedback, a midpoint review and an end-of-year appraisal against agreed upon expectations. At the end of this training you will be able to develop strategies to increase your accountability vis-à-vis performance management, develop work unit goals in terms of SMART criteria following a goal-writing formula, conduct collaborative meetings with staff members at midpoint review and end-of-year appraisal, provide feedback to staff members and engage in dialogue on an on-going basis and deal with under performers in a constructive manner (LMS-1090).

Management Development Programme - Part II
Description:

The MDP is a mandatory programme for P4/P5 staff members that provides participants the skills to support “system coherence” and enhance communication, manage change, develop people and teams, and deliver organizational results (LMS-1523).

Duration: 3.5 days module 1 and 2.5 days module 2 (with a 3 months intercession period)
Audience: Designed for managers at the P4/P5 level of responsibility

Objectives: This programme focuses on their ability to draw more fully on talents of their staff; effectively lead reform efforts; collaborate and network for organizational results; increase understanding of their own leadership style and areas for growth; increase authenticity and effectiveness as managers and leaders.
