Webex-based Client Service Skills Training and Project Management Training now available

If this question strikes a chord, the new distance learning training on Client Service and Project Management could be for you. Since the training takes place using the online application WebEx, you can participate remotely, no matter where in the world you are.

Job titles are streamlined in inspira

An extensive project has been undertaken recently to review, streamline and associate job codes (titles) in inspira in order to respond to the current Human Resources needs of the Organization.

A major benefit of the exercise is the association of job codes for functions at the same level, category and job family. This will lead to the expansion of the number of pre-approved roster candidates related to similar functions at the same level and category, provided that the requirements and qualifications are also similar.

Only two days left to complete the Mid-level and Senior Leadership Diversity Survey

For the first time ever, a career diversity survey is being conducted throughout the UN Secretariat to determine the measurable attributes shared by senior leaders and mid-level managers across the Organization.

Who is eligible?

The Departments of Management and Field Support invite professionals at the P-4, P-5, D-1, D-2, ASG and USG/SRSG levels in all duty stations to participate in this exciting initiative targeted at senior leaders and mid-level managers.

Why is the survey needed?

Blended learning is gaining popularity across the UN common system

A relatively new approach to education, blended learning is a hybrid teaching method that combines traditional classroom instruction with online learning. It is increasingly being incorporated into our Learning and Development Programmes. Participants can now combine the e-learning courses available on UN.Skillport with instructor-led training which links theory to the UN context. Blended learning allows students to take advantage of technology that was previously not available in traditional instruction.
