Resilience in the workplace. Module 2: Emotional Regulation and Challenging Negative Thought Patterns

Resilience is the ability to cope with adversity and adapt well to challenges or change. In this module, participants will learn the impact that our emtions and thoughts can can on our behaviours, and how to try to manage them (LMS-1658).

Understand the connection between thoughts and emotions; Learn to constructively manage emotions; Recognize cognitive distortions & negative thought patterns; Learn how to dispute negative thinking.
Further: 
This course will reinforce the principles of Performance management, namely, work planning , ongoing feedback, a midpoint review and an end-of-year appraisal against agreed upon expectations. At the end of this training you will be able to develop strategies to increase your accountability vis-à-vis performance management, develop work unit goals in terms of SMART criteria following a goal-writing formula, conduct collaborative meetings with staff members at midpoint review and end-of-year appraisal, provide feedback to staff members and engage in dialogue on an on-going basis and deal with under performers in a constructive manner(LMS-1658).
