Everyone working for the UN has a responsibility to help create and protect the right work culture. One of civility and respect. One in which we address workplace issues constructively. One in which we address instances of discrimination, harassment (including sexual harassment) and abuse of authority.
United to Respect Toolkit
This toolkit provides information and ideas to help staff become more engaged and proactive in establishing and maintaining a harmonious and civil work environment. It also contains practical and user-friendly guidance for those affected/impacted by prohibited conduct.

Secretary-General's Bulletin ST/SGB/2019/8
The Secretary-General’s Bulletin ( ST/SGB/2019/8) on addressing discrimination, harassment, including sexual harassment, and abuse of authority was issued in September 2019. Its purpose is to ensure that all Secretariat staff members and non-staff personnel are treated with dignity and respect, and are aware of their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a workplace free of prohibited conduct.
