Procurement in the UN system is governed by the established regulations and rules of each UN organisation. The Fundamentals of Procurement course provides a broad picture of the different ways of doing procurement within the UN system. The purpose of this course is to: Give a description of the guiding principles which govern UN procurement activities; Provide an overview of the UN procurement cycle, including certain transverse themes like risk management, sustainable and e-procurement, logistics, and ethics.
