United to Respect - RU

Promoting dignity and respect in the workplace

Aligned with ST/SGB/2019/8, a policy on “Addressing discrimination, harassment, including sexual harassment, and abuse of authority”, the United to Respect initiative stresses that we all must be treated with dignity and respect, and all have a role and responsibility to ensure that.

You can make a positive difference

  • Complete the mandatory learning course, “United to Respect: Preventing Sexual Harassment and Other Prohibited Conduct”. Information on how to enroll is available on the mandatory learning page. Both staff and non-staff personnel can access this course.
  • Explore the United to Respect Toolkit to find guidance and resources that enable us all to become more proactive in establishing and maintaining a civil and harmonious work environment; and to effectively intervene when something is wrong.
  • Participate in the United to Respect Dialogues in English, French, or Spanish. Each session, in person or online, is co-led by colleagues certified to lead critical discussions and skill-building activities. Contact your HR Partner or Learning Team to find out how to join the next session.
