Welcome to the United Nations Human Resources Portal

Welcome to the Human Resources Portal, your gateway to comprehensive information and resources related to human resources within the United Nations. We are dedicated to providing an integrated working environment for all UN staff members, ensuring that our workforce is equipped to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.
This portal serves as a central resource for accessing key human resources policies, services, career opportunities, and guidance. It is designed to support current staff members, prospective candidates, and all those seeking information about the UN’s human resources framework. Through this platform, we aim to facilitate seamless access to essential HR tools and information, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and excellence in service delivery.
Whether you are a new staff member or a seasoned professional, the portal offers valuable insights and guidance to help you navigate your journey with the UN. We invite you to explore the portal and learn more about our commitment to fostering a dynamic and effective workforce in service of the United Nations’ global mandate.
This portal also provides the Compendium of disciplinary measures explaining the Organization’s accountability framework and the past disciplinary practice. All past cases of established misconduct are anonymized and summarized in the Compendium. It is searchable by year, category of misconduct, and type of disciplinary measures. Further, the disciplinary process is visualized and a flowchart explains how misconduct is determined and addressed through disciplinary sanction. All staff should be aware of the information and report possible misconduct to ensure no impunity for misconduct. The Organization’s accountability goal requires every staff member’s full cooperation and compliance.
The portal includes Investigator’s Toolkit for the individuals who are trained and rostered to engage in an authorized investigation of the Organization. The individuals play a key role in ensuring the accountability and compliance with high investigative standards. The toolkit equips them with up-to-date resources, templates, and guidance. Access is granted based on authorization following a successful completion of investigators’ training.
